An Open Invitation: A Real Swinger’s Party in San Francisco
11Thanks to the lovely website Good Vibrations, this is my first porn movie to review, I have reviewed one instructional DVD before but I had yet to review an actual porn movie. Now I will start off to say that I am not a huge porn person and I have never been. Though I do have voyeuristic tendencies from time to time (that I am learning to embrace), I am not huge porn person so I can be incredibly picky with what I like and don’t like. Also, my partner and I aren’t swingers and aren’t really interested in swinging, so I can’t really comment on that aspect of it too much. Though I do feel that if you are into swinging, this is the DVD for you.
Why did I decided to review the DVD then? Well, both my partner and I are a bit voyeuristic so I feel like it’s nice to have a movie to put on every once in a while so we can cuddle up and watch it together. I really don’t need it for inspirational purposes because my partner is inspirational enough, but it’s a nice intimate moment for us that eventually helps to be a good mood setter for sex. The other reason is because I was interested in seeing the group sex that is show in the movie and the last reason is that it has a story line.
The movie focuses around a couple known as the Blumes who have lost the spark in their love life. Which you can tell by the way they make love in the first scene. It’s just sex, done, okay let’s go to bed and you can tell by Ms. Blume’s face that she is unfulfilled. They then meet another couple, the Angels at dinner. The Angels had been eyeing the Blumes from afar and were very curious about them. So they have the waiter seat them nearby and strike up a conversation with the Blumes. The Angels invite the Blumes to a party that turns out to be a swinger’s party. Ms. Blume gets confused when she comes out of the bathroom and sees two of the women together with husbands that are not their own. She goes down stairs and tells Mr. Blume and seems uncomfortable. The couples explain to the Blumes how they can enjoy swinging and the Angels seduce the Blumes into group sex. Eventually throughout the story you get to know the Blumes and the Angels and it leads you to a “real” swingers party in San Fransisco. The majority of the people at the party are actually supposed to be amateur, there are only 15 porn stars mixed in. (Though the most of them are pretty much just standing around and watching the porn stars, not very many of them have sex). It makes the DVD very interesting, and actually since some of the people are real life couples – the chemistry between them is great.
I really enjoy the chemistry between some of the actors, the Chemistry between the Blumes and the Angels together as couples is great. The sex scene between them is pretty good and it’s mainly just straightforward group sex. Also, I really enjoyed the sex scene that introduces the Angels, they are passionate and all over each other. I also enjoyed the incorporated use of sex toys such as anal plugs and vibrators into the scene. It shows that there is nothing wrong with incorporating toys into the act. Another one of my favorite scenes is the scene between The Blumes after they start spicing up their love lives, the actors have great chemistry and the scene is enjoyable. There is a lot of dirty talking and fantasy role playing, he even blindfolds her. Now, the party scene at the end is also very good, you see a lot of sex and it’s very erotic. I mean, I found what the couples were doing in the background a lot more of a turn on than the porn stars in the front of the scene that were the main attraction. It was just very erotic to see couples being sexual in different parts of the room and sitting on couches next to each other. It almost made me want to look up a sex party for my partner and I to go to, though it’s a fantasy of mine – I don’t think I’ll really ever get to play that one out in real life. At least the scene helped me to live out that fantasy. Also, one other good thing to point out is that to me all but one of the star’s bodies looked natural and that was refreshing to see. There was also a wide range of body types in the movie which I felt helped to make it a little more women friendly.
Now there were a few scenes that I was not to thrilled with, the all female scene in the movie won awards but I have seen better girl-girl scenes than this one. Though I’ll admit that I am only bi-curious I am not fully into women. Also, they do wear condoms in the scenes which I think is great because it promotes safe sex, though I do know that some viewers aren’t interested in seeing condoms. There is a bit of anal in the movie which I enjoyed such as sex toy use, anal sex, and double penetration. There is quite a bit of couple scenes, group sex, and one girl-girl scene. There is also a few short shots of amateurs during the party scene. The DVD also includes trailers for more Private Independent Films and a bonus scene.
So what is my final reaction of the DVD, it was actually quite entertaining, so I would fully recommend it – especially to those that are actually swinging or interested in swinging. If you enjoy good group sex scenes then you will enjoy the movie as well!

I’ve been interested in kegel balls for some time now, they are intended to exercise your vaginal muscles so you can have stronger orgasms. I wanted them to see if it would help me learn how to properly experience the power of my g-spot. I have felt the pleasure that it can bring but I have never orgasmed from it, let alone experienced female ejaculation. I had been looking into trying kegel balls for a few months. After some looking around, I decided to try the Babeland Smartballs.
The Smartballs come in two different styles: single and double. I am considered to be a beginner with Smartballs so I decided to try the single. The single is also intended to work for women with tilted or shallow vaginal canals. The smartballs are also known as the “Teneo Duo” and “Teneo Uno” and are manufactured by Fun Factory. The Babeland Smartballs are made of silicone and ABS hard plastic. I tend to have a preference towards silicone toys because the material is high grade, has a velvety smooth texture, and allows more of a choice when it comes to cleaning methods. The Smartballs come in a variety of colors but you can get the blue/hot pink from Babeland only.

The Smartball is about 1 1/2 inches wide and the retrieval cord is about 1 1/3 inches long. The cord may look thin but it’s very tough material and holds it’s own when you pull on it. I admit I was a little worried during my first use that the cord would snap upon removal. I have used the Smartball a few times now and have never had any breakage scares. The ball does have a slight texture – it’s a small raised wave that goes around the circumference of the ball. I’m not completely sure what the purpose of the texture is, I felt that it was to help keep the ball from slipping. The packaging says that the waves are there for “added sensitivity”. I can’t tell because I don’t feel the texture at all when I have it inserted.
The ball is weighted (similar to those asian “Ben-Wa” balls) and the weight rolls around inside the ball. After inserting the ball, the weight will rattle as you go about your day. These vibrations will cause your vaginal muscles to tighten. This helps your muscles to tighten and loosen as each vibration happens. So you are able to do the kegel exercises without having to think about it as you go about your daily activities. I felt that the rattling sensation was definitely unique, not to the point that it’s uncomfortable but it’s something that may take getting used to.
The Babeland Smartball is the first kegel ball that I have tried and I will say that it’s not going to be my last. I am very interested in trying out other styles (from this great sex toy website) until I can find one that works as perfectly as possible for my body. I just feel like I need to shop around to find one that suits me best and I will definitely be upgrading to the two ball style. I want to see if the two ball style will make a bit more of a difference.
I felt that the ball seemed to be working well, but I only used mine for day to day use. I will have to try out the recommended exercises from the Babeland Smartballs page as well. At times when I would try the ball, I felt that my muscles would tighten so much that it felt a bit uncomfortable when I removed the ball. What bothered me about the packaging is that there is nothing on it that tells you how far up to insert the ball. So I feel that I had to go through trial and error to figure out where to put it. If it was too low it would start to slide out a little, too high and I wouldn’t feel the vibrations at all. When it comes to sex, my partner did tell me that he can tell that my muscles have gotten a bit tighter which he is enjoying and it does help to make intercourse a bit more comfortable for me. As far as orgasms go – I haven’t really noticed much of a difference yet. I am going to keep trying though!
Make sure you use a decent amount of lube , the first time I used mine I didn’t and it was a bit uncomfortable to use the ball without it. When it comes to cleaning, you can use a toy cleaner, mild soap and warm water, put it in the dishwasher, or boil it. That’s the wonderful thing about silicone is the amount of different cleaning methods you can choose from. I usually just use mild soap and hot water to clean my silicone toys. I live with others so it’s not as discreet for me to put them in the dishwasher or boil them on the stove.

The thong and garter are attached together; with the garter going around the top of the panties. The garter straps stretch and are adjustable. The straps have the rubber and loop type of clip to attach to the top portion of your stockings. The garter is about 32 inches around the hips and has a decent amount of stretch. The crotch area of the thong is made up of the black lace and edged with turquoise fabric. The stockings are such a gorgeous vivid turquoise with sexy black lace tops.

I loved the look of this set, so I threw aside my qualms with “one size” lingerie and decided to try out this set. I was thrilled when I tried on the bra because it seemed to fit right. My breasts are pretty much similar to the model’s on the packaging. Though normally I prefer a little bit more support, the bra fit comfortably and looked very sexy. If you prefer a lot of support in your bra, then you will probably not like the bra because
it is soft and has no underwire, the only support that you get is the elastic that goes around the underbust, When I tried on the gartered thong, I was a bit disappointed. It fit but it felt pretty small to the point where it was a little tight in the crotch area. I noticed that the crotch area barely covered anything as well. This is such a pretty thong, but it made me feel a little more on the chubby side not sexy. I also assumed that the stockings would be thigh highs, to the point where maybe they met at the middle of my thigh. I’m only 5 feet tall and they only seemed to make it to maybe 3 – 3 1/2 inches above my knee. Which is technically thigh high, I know – but I was hoping for something higher. They are quite comfortable stockings though, they are sleek and soft feeling and the lace is comfortable as well.
As far as sizing goes, I would say that I am a M/L right now and the bra fit fine but the gartered thong was a bit tight. Which could have been due to my “J.Lo booty”. I felt that the fabric was quite comfortable – everything was soft and not scratchy.

I really don’t think that you will be disappointed with the set as a whole, but it might fit better if you are a medium size maybe even bordering on the large size. I’m working on an exercise/healthier eating routine – so I am hoping when I get down to my weight goal that the set will fit a lot better. I’m a bit disappointed that the only part of the set my partner has been able to see me in is the bra. I’ve been too nervous to try and wear the gartered thong around him. I’m sure he’ll find me beautiful – but I can’t feel sexy if it is making me feel a little self-conscious.
The cleaning directions on the set says to hand wash and hang dry it. If you’re a lingerie lover/collector – you may want to stick to the directions. You can hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. It will help to keep your lingerie looking better longer. I did test this set by machine washing it in cold water and dried it in the low heat setting. The set came out still looking great. I didn’t notice anything wrong with them and the fit hadn’t changed any either. When it comes to storing the set, I store mine in it’s own spot in the dresser. I have a separate box inside a drawer to keep some of my lingerie and panties in.

Heart 2 Heart Cuffs
The Heart 2 Heart Cuffs are now one of my favorite pairs of restraints that I own. Thanks to the female friendly sex toy shop, Babeland. They were willing to send me these great cuffs in exchange for an honest review. Being a newbie to kink (I have been learning how to practice since the beginning of the year), I have just been beginning my collection of BDSM products. I can say that these restraints are a pride of my collection now. These restraints come in red and black, which look great! The red is a bold shade of “racing red” and the black has a really nice sheen to it. The restraints are beautifully crafted, and the stitching looks very well done and sturdy. They are fairly lightweight restraints, but they have survived all of my tug and pull tests that I have given them. They are made off leather and feature suede lining and adjustable buckles. The suede lining feels extremely soft and sleek and felt very comfortable on my skin.The only smell I noticed on the cuffs was that yummy leather smell, so I had no problem with that. You might if you do not like the smell of leather. Both cuffs are about 2″ inches wide and can easily fit a 6″ to 9″ inch wrist. I will say that they look extremely hot on my partner.

Each restraint has it’s own D ring, which is used to link them together or to other restraints. If you would like to attach them together, you will need to purchase a cuff connector or two if you are wanting to attach them to other restraints such as these tether restraints. Another tip I learned from this great instructional DVD was to use bungee cords to attach the restraints to the bed or other furniture. You wrap and hook one side onto the furniture and then attach the hook on the other end to the D ring on the cuff. For safety reasons I would suggest that you make sure there are no sharp edges on the hooks of the bungee cords you choose to use.

I can see this product suiting anyone that is into bondage, they fit both my partner and I very well. I’m a petite lady and my wrists are a little under 2 inches and they were able to fit me comfortably as well. This is including leaving space for a couple fingers to fit through so they won’t be tight on either me or my partner. Since I am petite, I could probably use these restraints on my ankles as well, though someone with bigger ankles may not be able to. One thing I do love about separate cuffs are that they are very versatile. You are able to position your partner (or the submissive) in various different ways. This is part of the reason I had wanted some so badly in the first place, especially because they are quick to undo and change your partner into a whole new position if pleased. I’m hoping to be able to get a tether kit soon to go along with my single cuffs because I feel that they would come in very handy for the bed or for use with a piece of my sex furniture.
As far as clean up goes, I would just use warm water and then wipe it with a damp cloth. If needed, you could use mild soap as well – but be careful! You don’t want to douse your nice leather toys in water. The product came packaged in a plastic blister pack with nice looking package insert. There was nothing raunchy or weird looking about the packaging. On the back there are pictures of some of the other manufacturers products, which includes another style of cuffs, a blindfold, a collar (which is next on my shopping list), and a whip. All in all I am thrilled with the product and excited that I have another pair of restraints to add to my collection. I suggest that you should get some for yours as well!
