I just wanted to let you know that Good Vibrations is having some upcoming workshops, be sure to check and see if there are any in your area. There are art shows, an antique vibrator museum, and workshops over rope bondage, being sexy over 50, blowjobs and so on. Definitely take advantage of them if there are any in your area. I just want to say that I feel like the area I live in, isn’t as open to these kind of workshops or anything like that. So I am so envious of places with great shops like Good Vibrations that make these kind of workshops available. I learn a lot of my information from books, videos, and researching online. Shivers and the interchangeable caps
Shivers is the cutest vibrator that I have ever seen, that is why I felt that I needed him for my collection. He is the perfect little polar bear for this Winter season, and I am so thankful to Good Vibrations for allowing me to review it. Shivers is made of White ABS plastic and metal if you count the pieces in the battery compartment. The entire vibrator is about 5 3/4 inches long, and about 1 inch in diameter. The toy runs on one AA battery and is waterproof so you can take Shivers into the shower with you as well. Shivers comes with 4 interchangeable caps you can put on the end of the toy for different stimulation textures. One of the caps is completely smooth, another has a dull spiky texture, another has raised numbs similar to that of a lego, and the last has a bunch of raised dots like braille all over it.
Shivers works well as an external vibrator or a body massager. I wouldn’t use this toy for internal stimulation because it has separate little caps that you can change on the end of the vibrator. I wouldn’t want a cap to come off somehow inside of me. The vibrator works great for nipple stimulation – I liked feeling all of the textures against my nipples. I admit I felt a little bad for putting such a cute vibrator on my nether regions – but it definitely felt good. I wouldn’t use any of the rough tips on anyone’s genital regions because they are a bit uncomfortable. So, unless they like having more of a rough stimulation – they will probably be used just for other parts of the body. I actually loved using Shivers as a body massager more than anything. It felt great putting the Shivers side of the vibrator on my neck or shoulders or having my partner use it on my back.
I feel that Shivers is mostly a novelty toy, so it’s great for collectors or someone looking for their “first” sex toy. The main reason I wanted Shivers was because he is just so darn cute and I love polar bears. It was completely because I wanted to have him for my collection, not because I was looking for some super vibrator to end the use of all other vibrators. For me, it worked great as a warm up vibrator for me and as a fun warm up toy when my partner and I play together but that is it. It really wasn’t strong enough to get me off or anything. It also makes a great gag gift or something to give to some one for their Bachelorette party.
For such a cute novelty toy, I actually feel that the toy is made very well. The plastic is smooth and looks hard and thick. So it doesn’t look as if it it would break or fall apart real easily. The textures do add extra stimulation, to me the spiky and braille like textures tickled quite a bit in a good way – especially on my nipples. Like I mentioned earlier, I feel like Shivers would be a great “first” sex toy for someone. It’s a pocket rocket style vibrator, so it is easy to put together and use. You can experiment with use by stimulating yourself with the tip or using the body part of toy. It’s also waterproof, so you can also take it into the shower with you for experimentation as well. I feel that it’s great for someone looking to experiment with and see what they enjoy. The toy is definitely a bit more discreet, but I feel the end of the toy kind of gives it away – but only if the person that sees it knows what they are looking at. The toy isn’t huge, so you could easily pack it into your suitcase for travel. I could see myself taking this cute little toy with me when I travel.
To insert the battery into the toy, you must twist the bottom to “open” and then pull it off. You insert the battery and you fit the bottom back onto the toy and twist it to “off” to tighten the end back on. To turn the vibrator on, you just twist the vibrator to “on” and it turns on, twist it to “off” to turn it back off. For me, the controls are straight forward and every easy to use. Though I admit, if you are using the toy along with an internal toy (such as a dildo) and you have lube on your hands – it is hard to twist the toy on or off. I felt that it was a loud toy though, when I used it – I was a little worried that my room mate could hear it through the door of my bedroom. I did not submerge Shivers in water but I did take him in the shower with me to test it. It fared very well and I didn’t notice any issues after I took it out and dried it off.
The toy is easy to clean, I usually use mild soap and warm water to clean my plastic toys. Though be very careful not to get water into the battery compartment while cleaning. I store my Shivers in a lockable toy chest with my other toys, but you could store it in the packaging if needed. Though the packaging is thin plastic, so I would be careful not to pile stuff on top of it.
All in all, I’m happy with this toy – it may not be one of my “go to” toys but it’s fun to use when getting or giving massages or as a warm up vibrator for sex. I am happy to have it in my collection. I also love the thought and design put into the Bzzz Buddies line of toys. If you look at the back of the box, there are actually images of other Bzzz Buddies toys you can buy. One of them looks like Squirtle from the PokeMon series, it’s so cute. They even put a little story about Shivers on the back of the box as well, about how he gets cold and makes friends with Chilly the Penguin.

This cute little Sweetheart Ducky was sent to me by the great sex toy website Good Vibrations. The Sweetheart Ducky is one of the cutest vibrators that I own. It’s completely discreet, if you looked at it sitting on my bathroom shelf, you wouldn’t believe that it’s a vibrator. The Sweetheart Ducky is small, about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide at it’s widest point. It’s made of ABS plastic which is completely free of phthalates. It’s waterproof so you can even take this little sweetheart into the bathtub with you. It comes in a gorgeous pearlescent white and is decorated with a removable feather boa and it even has a Swarovski crystal nose piercing. It takes 1 AAA battery and it’s a bit tricky to put the battery in it. You have to take a coin and insert it into the slot on the bottom of the duck and twist it, once you do that – you are able to open it up to put the battery in it. You have to close it the same way, by twisting the coin in the slot. The Sweetheart Ducky is an external vibrator, so it is made to stimulate your vulva, nipples, and anywhere else on your body you would like to please.
Size comparison
When I used this toy, I brought it into the bath with my partner and I – I was excited to have a fun toy to play with in the bath tub. Unfortunately for me, it was extremely weak. It was enough to work as a little warm up vibe for me before intercourse. As far as a vibe to use for play and to get me off, this one won’t do. If you are looking for a weaker vibe, then this would be a great vibe for you – if you need strength – then I don’t feel like this would work for you either. It works great for nipple stimulation though, because it gives me the light gentle simulation that I like.
The Sweetheart Ducky is very well made, there is no texture to the outside. It’s completely smooth, not counting in the curves on it’s wings and it’s face. The vibrations don’t seem to travel well throughout the whole body of the duck though. It’s main power seems to be on the bottom of it. I kind of wish that the Ducky was a bit bigger, then maybe it would have more power – but it’s small size helps to keep it discreet and makes it travel friendly as well. As I mentioned, I keep mine on a shelf in my bathroom so it’s very easy to hide because I don’t even need to hide it.
Battery compartment & Dial control
To turn the Sweetheart Ducky on and off, you use a dial type control on the bottom of it. It’s easy for me to use and had no problem even using it with wet fingers in the tub. The toy isn’t really noisy to me, it seemed to be pretty quiet. I feel that I could use it without much fear that anyone could hear it. The Ducky is very easy to clean, I use mild soap and warm water to clean it. You can even store the Ducky in it’s holder that it in. It comes in a cute plastic heart and even has a little pedestal that you can place the heart in so it stands up.

All in all, I didn’t feel that the Sweetheart Ducky was the perfect toy for me – but I still love it for the novelty of it. It’s adorable and I love having it in my sex toy collection.

Ryder plug review

I’m a novice when it comes to anal play, I have experienced it and do enjoy it. That is what brought me to purchasing my very first plug in the first place. When I chose my first plug, I made sure to choose something small and soft. I used and enjoyed my toy off and on until I got used to it. I absolutely loved the stimulation it gave me and decided that I was ready for an upgrade. So when this great sex toy shop, Good vibrations offered me the Tantus Ryder, I said “Yes, please!” Just looking at the picture, I couldn’t resist this shiny purple plug.

The Tantus Ryder is about 4 inches tall with a width of 1 1/2 half inches. It’s a nice and thick plug – but not to the point that it’s too huge. It’s a great upgrade choice for a novice like myself. The Ryder is made up of 100% silicone. Silicone is my first choice when it comes to anal toys. It’s usually a softer material, so I feel that will help with ease and comfort. It is also extremely hygienic and body safe because it is a non-porous material. It’s also very easy to clean because you can wash it regularly, using mild soap and warm water, a toy cleaner, boil the toy in water for a few minutes, or stick it in the dish washer. You have plenty of choices when it comes to a silicone toy.

The Ryder is a perfect fit for those looking for a bigger plug. It can even help as a way to build up and relax your own body for anal intercourse. This was one reason I wanted to try this toy – for some reason, it’s easier for me to insert a toy than it is for me to go straight into anal intercourse. As hard as I try to relax my body, it still gives me trouble, while for a toy – I can take my time and slowly insert it. It helps because I don’t have myself or my partner getting too eager and going too fast. I hope that this toy will eventually help ready me for anal intercourse in the future (I have just been practicing with it so far). Some bonus points for the toys, is that it is long enough to stimulate the prostate so it can work for my partner as well.
Ryder is comes equipped with a flared base for safety and it is made slender as well for comfort. I did not try to wear the plug while I was out and about, so I don’t know how well it works for extended use. I did wear it for over an hour at one time and it felt comfortable and pleasurable the whole time! It also made it very hard for me to wait for my partner to get off from work. It helped to get me going more and more the longer that I had it in.. The texture of the plug is completely smooth and it has a soft almost squishy feel to it. I feel like I could almost use it as a stress relief ball if it was a little bit squishier. The smoothness and softness really helped add to the comfort of the plug.

The Ryder came packaged in the typical Tantus packaging. A clear plastic box with information about Tantus and the toy on it. The package has great design to it graphically, but it’s not discreet at all because you can see exactly what is in the box. The Tantus boxes can be a little bit of a pain to open sometimes., I don’t know why. I think it may be due to me being a little eager to try out the toy. The box didn’t come with any instructions or warnings at all. I don’t use the packaging as a storage box and I don’t think it would be the best one because it can be smashed. I keep my plug in a drawstring bag inside my locking toy chest.
A couple of important side notes about the toy, it is made of silicone so you can not use silicone based lube with the toy – it could ruin your plug! I choose to use a thicker water based lubricant for my plug use. Also, when it comes to lubricant and anal play “A little dot does a lot” is not a proper mentality. You want to be sure to use plenty of lube when it comes to anal play for safety’s sake.
My Impression: I absolutely love my Tantus Ryder, it’s big but not too huge, hygienic, and easy to clean. It gave me the stimulation I was hoping for and it feels great during sex. It’s an extremely comfortable plug, I was a little worried a first because of the size – thinking it may be a little too big for me but it worked great. I’m absolutely in love with this plug and I highly recommend that you try it out if you are curious about it.
